Why would so called expert contact you just because you are asking?

It not the best educated way to introduce yourself: "I have a very important project and I need expert to contact me". Come on!

I can't explain to the world now.

Dear Pirla,
that's is my goal.
if you see the link of the drumming magazine I write for, you will see reviews on rare vintage items.
they are in Italian. everyone can ask me something in English.
My book on Italian drums is to share notices about Italian vintage (that's with English parallel text).
also my next projects are not to make richer someone but to have new and organized sources abot vintage drums for all vintage lovers

Well Luca, Pirla gave you the good advice.
I'm not a vintage drums specialist, the best thing is to browse the vintage topics and ask or chat on thoses topics with the author.
But he has to be able to speak fluent english or italian with you, what would be the big part of the job.

Anyway.... As a forum member, you are welcome to browse here through tons of information about french percussive history. And you are requested to participate and share your knowledge too.

Hello againg,
questions on vintage French drums are a little part of the project, wich needs a lot of work.
the start point is to have contacts to begin.
It would be too long to check all topics, most in French, to understand if there could be someone interested in topic by topic, writing messages and waiting for answers (anyway I did it).

Out of the forum I had personal contacts.
But I'm still looking for expert in vintage French drums history wich want to organize the history of your drums

Hi Luca,

I guess the few knowledgable people on the topic are either not users of this forum, or possibly too busy otherwise, or eventually having their own ideas...

I personnaly did not answer just because I am just a vintage drums lover and far from an expert, especialy regarding the mysterious and complex history of french drums from last century.

Giving a bit of details might motivate some.
