Leedy Cocktail drum - 1940/1950 ???

Gretsc coktail drum - 1950
For your consideration is this Gretsch cocktail kit snare, floor tom, and high tom in silver sparkle finish with corresponding kick pedal. The 3-ply maple is in great condition. Our guess is that this piece is from the late 1950's due to the 3-ply maple drums and Gretsch lug hardware. The snare/floor tom is 14 inches across and 27 inches deep. The small high tom measures 8 inches across and about 5.5 inches deep. This drum is very interesting in that the snare has a very boomy resonate sound due to the long body of the shell. The Gretsch kick pedal mounts underneath where the floor tom head is mounted upside down and attached to the snare drum.
